During my ES school, I undertook a project focused on the creation of function blocks for various PLC fieldbus systems. These function blocks were developed to integrate with multiple platforms, including Beckhoff with EtherCAT communication, Rockwell with EtherNet/IP, Siemens with Profinet, and Mitsubishi with CC-Link. In addition, the project also included the enhancement of Hilscher gateway configurations sold with the Asycube system.
Function blocks were created for four major industrial automation platforms:
- Beckhoff with EtherCAT
